Chicago River at Night was photographed from the top of the 333 N. Wacker Dr. building. Very long exposure was used. That is what makes the river look like glass. Also the image becomes very saturated and sharp. It is available as greeting cards and various size prints on Fine Art America. Photography prints and greeting cards by Thomas Firak are now available on fineartamerica.com. The Photography is of different locations, animals and nature settings both traditional and abstract. Thomas started working in photography in 1971. I n 1973 he started working for the Kraft photo studio. He I spent 5 1/2 years at the Kraft photo studio where he refined his talents in still life, food, location, people and product photography. In 19 78 he opened his own studio in Chicago and has been in business since than doing both fine art and commercial photography. Some of his favorite photography subjects are of different locations and nature settings both traditional and abstract .
